142 Plymouth Street

On the 19th of April, 2022, we opened the doors to our Multidisciplinary Design Studio and Showroom Café, an immersive space to experience our design objects and custom furniture first-hand. A seasonal menu of food and beverage items are served on our tableware.

Complementing our own line, we feature a considered collection of lifestyle products, publications, and provisions from select local and international designers, artists, and brands.

Our Studio–Showroom–Café concept is the first of its kind in the United States.

Summer 2024

Our Café was established as a way to experience the items we design and produce firsthand. We feature a focused, ever evolving selection of food and beverages, simple things we enjoy and think you would too. Try various things our friends create. We don't offer any items to take away and like for you to slow down and be mindful of the environmental impact of single-use, take away packaging.

142 Plymouth, the landmarked building we inhabit, is located in the heart of Dumbo, a historic, waterfront neighborhood in Brooklyn, New York. Originally a ferry landing characterized by industrial warehouses and factories set upon Belgian block streets.

Our building was erected in 1910 and commissioned by Robert Gair, a Scottish immigrant and inventor of the cardboard box. From the late 90’s to early 2000’s, it was home to a Japanese motorcycle club. Post-industrial Dumbo has evolved over the years, developing into a mainstay for a community of emerging and established artists, designers and architects.
